OUR STORY

VALA NC is established as a proposed public charter school by experienced educators, STEM professionals, and community leaders who share a common belief: online learning should be engaging, supportive, and meaningful. Currently in the planning and approval phase, VALA NC is being developed to serve students across North Carolina through high-quality virtual education grounded in evidence-based practices.

Guided by a diverse and committed Board of Directors, VALA NC is designed to bring together rigorous virtual instruction, STEAM-focused learning, responsible use of technology, intentional character development, and strong family partnerships. Through a carefully phased growth model and a student-centered approach, VALA NC aims to prepare learners not only for academic success but also for responsible citizenship, lifelong learning, and success in college, careers, and life.
